Hi, my name is Cash Casia, and I am the founder & CEO of ButterFaye.
My background is a bit diverse and unconventional. I was an international fashion model and actress working in more than 15 different countries for nearly two decades. After having children, I went back to school- my undergrad was in premedical sciences, and I went on to study natural and integrative medicine. I have been practicing natural medicine since 2016.

In 2020, I began making personal wellness products, herbal healing soaps and skincare products from our garden herbs and goat’s milk on our private family farm while we were sheltering in place. At that time, I was also making herbal remedies for many of my clients, friends and family. They became interested in the soaps and other products I was making which are all created with healing potential and general wellness in mind.
This was the birth of ButterFaye Organics.
ButterFaye’s nomenclature was created by my young daughters in 2016 - who named our original garden for its indigenous butterflies and garden fairy inhabitants.
When the local farmer’s markets opened back up in 2021, I decided to sell the new product line there. Our first day at the market we sold out!
This is not what I had ever planned as a career- but I absolutely love what I am doing. Designing these products allows me to be creative while still also helping to improve the health of others. I feel that I am uniquely qualified to do exactly this. Throughout my fashion career, I worked with top-tier cosmetic companies and skincare brands, gaining invaluable insights into what distinguishes superior skincare products. My expertise as a herbalist, deep understanding of human biochemistry, and background in natural and herbal medicine enable me to create products that not only support health but also promote overall wellness.
ButterFaye is more than an aesthetically beautiful, natural, and USDA organically sourced product line. It’s a culture – a lifestyle. We believe in green, sustainable living that supports our health, community and local farmers. ButterFaye stands for an organic, natural and uplifting lifestyle that promotes wellness - not only for our bodies, but in our communities by helping others, promoting local farmers, and bringing our community together.
